FAQ
Q. If I register multiple minutes on different dates and in different years, how do I remember them all, when I want to look them up on the site?
A. Not a problem, because each time that you sign in, you will see the list of your minutes and you just click on the ones you want to view, edit or add to.
Q. Exactly what do I get when I register a minute?
A. If you register a minute for free, others will also be able to register the same minute, in other words you may share this with others. However, you can opt to make your minute exclusively yours for a one-off payment of £2.95 (US$4.86, €3.45), no renewal is necessary, no further charges and you can change your page as much or as often as you want to.
When you register a minute in time on the web site, you get your own page to record pictures and an account of why that time is precious. If you book it exclusively, you also get a certificate that you can print off with your time and date stamp. Your minute is yours forever
Q. How private is my page on the site?
A. If you tick the 'keep my minute private' box, it is totally secure and accessible by you and by you alone, so no problem with anyone seeing those saucy holiday snaps or your innermost thoughts. You can however, choose to make it public or to share your password with friends or family if you so wish - it's your choice.
Q. How do I know that the website will keep going?
A. We guarantee that the site will continue to be active for at least five years, but it is intended to be permanent. In the event that e-minutes are unable for any reason to maintain the site in the future, provision will be made for its continuation with another owner or service provider and time purchasers will be notified accordingly.
Q. If I don't know my time of birth, how can I find out?
A. It is not a requirement to record the time of birth, unless twins or multiple births, at official registries. However, usually your mother will be able to tell you, if she is still alive. Otherwise, the maternity unit at the hospital in which you were born might have a record. Otherwise, it is virtually impossible to find out and that is why you owe it to your children to keep a record. Where better than on myminuteintime?
